WE LOVE OUR COMMUTER STUDENTS
Trust us. We understand that many students would love to live on campus, but if you missed our priority housing application deadline, chances are we won't be able to accommodate you this semester. However, our commuter student population can take part in all of our academic and co-curricular programming, take advantage of Atlanta's public transportation, and even purchase a meal plan.
Finding Housing Near Campus
Although we are unable to endorse or recommend off-campus apartments, Morehouse College has partnered with Rent College Pads, Inc. to assist students, faculty, and staff with their search for off-campus housing in the Atlanta metro area through our virtual Housing Marketplace. This database provides you with the tools to compare the largest selection of off-campus housing apartments and rooms for rent in the area.
The website is easy to access with your Morehouse email address. The platform provides a vibrant map of the area surrounding the Morehouse campus where students can get an overhead view of local off-campus properties.
To help meet the specific needs of each renter, the platform includes filter features to help narrow down your search by pricing, bedrooms, amenities, etc. Each listing also includes walk, bike, and bus times to different locations on campus so that you’ll know your daily commute.
Meal Plans
Don't cook? No problem. Commuter students can purchase a meal plan that fits their needs.
“There is an air of expectancy at Morehouse College. It is expected that the student who enters here will do well. ”
Dr. Benjamin E. Mays | President of Morehouse College from 1940 to 1967
