Information for Counselors
At Morehouse, we appreciate everything you do to support your students as they consider applying to college. School counselors and access professionals play a key role in helping students select the college or university that is right for them.
College is a big decision, and we are here to help you and your students make the application process as simple as possible. And we support your efforts by providing you with the tools and information you need to help your students decide if Morehouse College is the perfect fit for them.

Morehouse College has embraced a digital-first approach for document submission, offering counselors and access professionals multiple resources to upload applicant materials efficiently. These streamlined platforms and dedicated portals enhance the accessibility of the admissions process, benefiting all stakeholders involved in the application review and submission procedures.

Application Requirements
Application Requirements
A completed application for new first-time applicants includes the following:
- Completed Common Application or Morehouse College Application
- Essay (choose any of the essay prompts)
- On-line application fee or valid application fee waiver
- Two (2) letters of recommendation*
- One (1) letter must come from student’s current school counselor
- Official high school transcript*
- Official SAT/ACT scores (optional for 2024-2025 application)
- Student Resume (optional)

How to Submit
To ensure the timely processing of application materials during the admission cycle, please submit documents via the Common App or other online credential request services.
Morehouse has also partnered with slate.org, through which you may upload materials directly for applicants. In the rare circumstances that the preceding methods of submission are not options, please contact admissiondocuments@morehouse.edu for other options. If an item has been sent to Morehouse electronically, please do not mail duplicate hard copies.
*Documents with an asterisk beside it must be submitted directly from the high school and will not be accepted if submitted by the applicant.

College Fairs & Campus Tours
COLLEGE FAIRS
If you would like to invite a representative from Morehouse to your college fair, please email the invitation directly to admissionevents@morehouse.edu. As all requests must be received through this email account, we ask that you refrain from inviting alumni representatives directly. Please note that due to the volume of requests each year, we are limited in the number of fairs in which we are able to participate.
GROUP TOURS
GROUP TOUR TIMES:
TUESDAY AND THURSDAY
10:00 A.M., 12:30 P.M., AND 2:30 P.M.Parties with five or more guests should consider scheduling a group tour so that Morehouse can accommodate your request. We ask that you only register once for the group. Please be mindful that larger tour groups are subject to being split into smaller groups to better serve you.
Group Campus Tour times are aligned to allow our guests to experience the entire Atlanta University Center. If you plan to tour other AUC Institutions, please contact them directly or visit their websites to book your tour.
