Phase I: Advising Form
Advising Form

Deadline: April 1, 2026

Please complete the form with accuracy to ensure you are properly advised.
- Complete Advising Form: Log into Slate to complete. If needed, refer back to your Welcome Email for the direct link.
Phase II: Assessments
Assessments

Deadline: May 22, 2026

Math Assessment

Required for ALL students. Take your time and do your best.
- Complete the Math Placement Test
If accommodations are needed, please email: maroontigeradvising@morehouse.edu.

Foreign Language Assessment

Foreign Language is a graduation requirement for ALL Students. Your choice of Foreign Language should have been indicated on your Advising Form.

Enrolling in French, German, or Spanish?
- Complete the Foreign Language Assessment
Enrolling in Chinese or Portuguese? There is no assessment to complete.

Starting May 1st

Check your Morehouse email for your personalized Assessment Results & Advising Wednesday Invitation.

Attend Advising Wednesday

10:30 AM OR 2:30 PM EST

Please register for ONE session:

Get Cleared

Become financially and medically cleared in order to gain access to the registration system.

- Student Health Center
Phase IV: Register for Classes

Register for Classes

Register for classes

Once cleared, an email will be sent to your Morehouse email prompting you to register for classes.

Emails are sent on Thursdays ONLY. You will have 1 week to complete your registration. Remember to register for 14.5 -16.5 credit hours.

Schedule Confirmed

Your advisor will confirm and lock your schedule by placing the “Freshman Advising Hold” on your account. This hold indicates that you are registered and your schedule is confirmed.
