Athletics
Morehouse athletes are champions on the field and off. Morehouse athletics intercollegiate programs encourage physical fitness, fellowship, and academic and athletic achievement for the men of Morehouse.
A COMPREHENSIVE PROGRAM
Morehouse athletics are an essential part of the overall educational experience at Morehouse. We provide a comprehensive and diverse athletics program, offering opportunities to all students. Our department is committed to providing a vigorous intercollegiate sports program. Many of our teams play at the NCAA Division II level and are members of the Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.
Our philosophy is identical to Morehouse’s mission of continuing the long tradition of producing outstanding servant leaders. Exceptional coaching and training facilities provide a setting in which student-athletes can fully develop as players and individuals.
Morehouse student-athletes demonstrate that the pursuit of excellence on the field is fully compatible with pursuing excellence in the classroom. The combination of those two endeavors lends itself to a comprehensive educational experience.
