Institutional Scholarships
A Morehouse College education is an investment in your future success. AUTOMATIC SCHOLARSHIP MATCH (NEWLY ADMITTED STUDENTS)
Newly admitted Freshmen students will be automatically considered for scholarships based on their existing admissions application, except in special circumstances where they may be contacted directly for further information or directed to the scholarship portal. Incoming new students who match criteria for selected scholarships will receive awards based on their admission application.
USING THE MOREHOUSE College SCHOLARSHIP PORTAL (CURRENT STUDENTS)
Current students may apply using the Morehouse College Scholarship Portal. The scholarship portal has newly enhanced feature functionality and search capabilities to help students better match themselves with scholarship criteria. Current students can begin applying for scholarships now using the link at the top of the page.
Morehouse College institutional Scholarship continued eligibility criteria:
To be eligible for scholarships, you must:
- Be a newly admitted or currently enrolled Traditional Morehouse student.
- Meet the criteria established by the scholarship donors.
- Submit all required documents necessary for processing.
- We strongly encourage that you complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to maximize available scholarship opportunities.
- Maintain GPA, community service hours, or meet other conditions necessary for the scholarship.
**Morehouse Online students are not eligible to apply for Morehouse College Institutional Scholarships.
EXTERNAL SCHOLARSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
There are many scholarship opportunities that do not involve Morehouse College directly. These are considered outside scholarships. To locate outside scholarships, you may want to contact your high school guidance counselor, local civic organizations (i.e., Rotary, Lions, etc.), religious groups, places of employment, and the web.
