    College Policies

The rules that make a complex institution navigable — stated plainly and kept current.

Sound policies make a complex institution navigable. The Policies pillar is Morehouse College’s central, public-facing home for the handbooks, manuals, and institutional policies that govern life and work at the College. Here, students, faculty, staff, and members of the public can find the rules that apply to them.

Policies are organized by the office responsible for them and presented in alphabetical order within each area. Most policies and handbooks are publicly available; a limited number are maintained behind the College’s firewall (“BF”) because they contain internal or sensitive operational detail and are accessible to the campus community through secure login. The Office coordinates the College’s developing Policy on Policies, which establishes a consistent process for how institutional policies are proposed, reviewed, approved, and retired.
