The Inauguration of
The Inauguration of
Dr. F. Dubois Bowman '92
The inauguration of Morehouse College’s 13th President is more than a milestone; it is a homecoming. Under the theme “Building Principled Leaders: Steadfast, Honest, True,” we honor the return of Morehouse’s own, a leader who will chart the next chapter of the College’s indelible history.

Our 13th President
Dr. F. DuBois Bowman
Renowned public health leader and biostatistician Dr. F. DuBois Bowman, a 1992 graduate of Morehouse College, serves as the College’s 13th president. He officially began his tenure on July 15, 2025, following a national search and the conclusion of President David A. Thomas’s distinguished leadership in June. An accomplished scholar and dedicated servant leader, Dr. Bowman returns to his alma mater to guide Morehouse into a new era of academic excellence, innovation, and global impact.
