    About Shiekgo D. Carter  

    SHIEKGO (SHE-CO) CARTER is the Associate Director in the Event Support Services Department at Morehouse College where she provides exceptional leadership, advisement, and consultation to students, faculty and staff.

    In her role as role Associate Director of Morehouse College's Event Support Services Department, her responsibilities include keeping the Morehouse Community informed of the approved Scheduled Events  and collaborating closely with external clients who rent out the college's venues for their upcoming events.

    Shiekgo Carter is native of Atlanta, Ga. Her educational background includes high diploma from Chamblee High School and B.A. Degree from Clark Atlanta University. Shiekgo experiences have contributed to her expansive career in marketing, IT, Event Planning and Production. In 2001, she obtained her Master of Business Administration Degree in Information Systems from Keller Graduate School of Management, which is now DeVry University. 

    Throughout her years of involvement within the Atlanta University Center, Shiekgo Carter has received over 15 awards, which include the Emma & Joe Adams Community Service Award, dedicated volunteer for the Morehouse’s Homecoming activities, Commencement, and Protocol Facilitators Organization. In addition to these accomplishments, Shiekgo Carter is also an honorary member in The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, member of Delta Sigma Pi Co-Ed Business Fraternity, Women of CAUAA, CAU School of Business Alumni Network Affiliate (SBANA), Gamma Phi Delta Sorority Inc. and mentor for Save a Girl Save a World Organization.
