About the Professor
Kristin Moody is the Director of Academic Programs and Strategic Initiatives for the Morehouse Center for Excellence in Education and an adjunct professor for both the Education and Leadership Departments. Her research and scholarship focus on the role of empathy in leadership and learning. She was recognized by the University of Southern California for excellence in research for her study "Authentic Care in an Urban High School," which examined the strategies and impact of authentic care frameworks for learners and teachers. She is certified in K-12 secondary education and leadership, holds certification as a Restorative Justice Coach, and is Level 2 certified through the International Coaching Federation.
