About the Professor
Dr. Keon N. Berry is a dynamic scholar-practitioner and award-winning educator. As an adjunct professor of sociology, he brings a unique blend of scholarly depth and real-world application to the classroom setting. Focusing on storytelling through narrative inquiry approach in his research, Dr. Berry utilizes his platform to center and amplify the voices of marginalized communities, acutely emphasizing the lived experiences of Black and low-income individuals. His dedication to social justice is evident in his research and advocacy efforts, where he staunchly champions equity for all, with a particular focus on supporting Black men and boys, advancing social entrepreneurship, and promoting quality, access, and inclusion within early childhood education.
