About Jonathan Jordan
Jonathan Jordan is the Director of Financial Aid & Scholarships in the Office of Financial Aid at Morehouse College.
Jonathan L. Jordan is a dedicated higher education professional with over a decade of expertise in financial aid administration, student support, and operational excellence. Prior to Morehouse College, Mr. Jordan served as the Associate Director of Financial Aid & Scholarships at Texas A&M University – Commerce, where he oversaw state and federal loan reporting, supervises loan delivery systems, and collaborates on long-term strategic planning to enhance student access to financial resources.
With a Master of Science in Management from Texas A&M University – Commerce and certifications in Operational Excellence, SAP, and Six Sigma Green Belt, Jonathan is skilled in streamlining processes and maintaining compliance with federal and state regulations. His innovative approach includes implementing financial aid management systems and hosting outreach events that engage hundreds of students and families.
Jonathan's prior roles include Assistant Director of Loans & Special Programs, where he managed loan systems and special academic programs, and Financial Aid Advisor, where he handled work-study programs and advised students. He is also an accomplished public speaker, presenting at professional conferences and facilitating discussions on workplace diversity.
As a committed mentor and community leader, Jonathan has volunteered with the African American Male Mentorship Program and served on university boards, reflecting his passion for student development and equitable education access.
