Joe Carlos III is the Director of Alumni Engagement, Programming and Events at Morehouse College. A native of Dallas, he is a proud husband and father. When he's not at Morehouse, he's spending time with his family or off somewhere taking photographs for his company, Joe Carlos Photography. He started taking photographs while in college, when he was an editor of The Maroon Tiger and the Torch Yearbook. A native of Dallas, TX Joe is a proud lifelong fan of the 2023 World Series Champion Texas Rangers and the 2024 NBA Western Conference Champion Dallas Mavericks. On most Sundays, you can find him at Mercedes Benz Stadium in his seats in section 118 cheering on his beloved Atlanta Falcons. Joe loves spending time with his friends and family. He has a podcast with his college classmate Dr. Calvin Smith '01 called The Open Tabs Podcast, where they discuss movies, television, music, pop culture and all points in between. He's been referred to as a consummate Morehouse Man, and has worked at Morehouse as the Assistant Dean of Admissions and Recruitment as well as the Senior Director of Content Marketing Strategy previously.
