    About the Professor

    Emani Rashad Saucier, MFA, is a multimedia professional and educator passionate about empowering student storytellers to find their voices and share their narratives. He excels at capturing compelling stories and leveraging his diverse skillset to transform them into impactful media experiences.

    Through his production company, Saucier Films, Emani has produced innovative commercial content for Fortune 500 companies like Google, Adobe, and Microsoft, alongside award-winning narrative and documentary films.

    A proud Morehouse College alumnus (BA, Africana Studies), Emani also holds an MFA from the University of Georgia and will pursue a PhD in Digital Media Communications. His research explores the intersection of philosophy and technology, focusing on the potential of VR/AR to enhance educational outcomes for students of color.

    At Morehouse, Emani teaches digital media production and visual innovation courses, curates the Journalism Multimedia and Innovation Lab, co-advises the Maroon Tiger student newspaper, advises the Michael Jordan Scholars program, and serves as the Executive Producer of the More Conversations Podcast. He is a licensed drone pilot (Part 107a) and serves as a U.S. Army Reserve Officer
