About Dr. Corey Stayton
Dr. Corey Stayton teaches English Composition 101 and 102 courses. His research interests include gender issues, African American literature, American literature, and philosophy.
Dr. Stayton’s dissertation focuses on the dynamics of cultural trauma in the novels of Toni Morrison. Stayton’s teaching philosophy begins with having a passion for learning and teaching. He has over 25 years of English composition and literature teaching experience.
