    Verification Process

    FAFSA Verification Process through Inceptia

    inceptiaVerification is a process mandated by the U.S. Department of Education to confirm the accuracy of the information provided on the FAFSA. Students who are selected for verification will be required to provide certain documents to the Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid before their financial aid application can be processed. Examples of some documents that may be requested include:

The Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships will send you email notifications with instructions on how to access your missing requirements. Check your Morehouse College e-mail account often, and make sure you submit documents as quickly as possible.

    Morehouse College has partnered with Inceptia to review and process verifications. Students who are selected will begin receiving notifications from Inceptia to create an account begin reviewing and electronically submitting all required documents. After your account has been created you will begin receiving periodic calls, emails and texts reminding you to complete all requirements before your file can be reviewed.

    Note: Failure to submit all required documentation will result in delayed processing of your Financial Aid file.
