Meriwether/Talbot Upward Bound Program
Succeed in your higher education pursuits.
Your Success Starts Here
The Morehouse College Meriwether-Talbot Upward Bound Program helps high school students prepare for college, careers, and future success.
Serving 74 eligible students from designated high schools in Meriwether and Talbot counties, the program provides students with the academic support, resources, and experiences they need to succeed in high school and confidently take their next steps after graduation.
What We Do
Upward Bound helps students:
- Strengthen their academic skills
- Preparing for college
- Explore careers and future opportunities
- Develop leadership skills
- Build confidence and motivation
- Participate in meaningful educational and enrichment experiences
Upward Bound is a federally funded college-access program designed to support eligible students who may be the first in their families to earn a four-year college degree or who come from limited-income households.
Our Mission
Our mission is to prepare students for success in high school, college, and beyond.
Through academic instruction, mentoring, college preparation, career exploration, and enrichment activities, we help students strengthen their skills, discover new opportunities, and build the confidence to reach their full potential.
Dream bigger. Prepare for college. Build your future.
