Federal Work-Study is a federally funded program that provides part-time job opportunities for undergraduate students with financial need. It allows you to earn money to help pay education expenses. The program encourages community service work and work related to your course of study. Completion of the FAFSA, enrollment status, and Satisfactory Academic Progress determines eligibility. The Office of Financial Aid determines eligibility to participate in the program.

Eligibility requirements include completing a FAFSA, full-time enrollment, and satisfactory academic progress. Work-study is like any other job, but there are a few distinct advantages. You’ll work in a familiar environment, your employer will work with you to schedule work time around your class schedule, and time off is flexible for studying and other academic needs.

Student employment is available on a first-come, first-serve basis to eligible students who complete their FAFSA by the priority deadline.
