join the movementWomen Mobilizing for Morehouse is a movement built on the powerful bond that exists between Morehouse College and the women who believe in its mission—and invest in its future. They are spouses and partners, mothers and mentors, faculty and staff, and donors and advocates united by a shared commitment: to ensure Morehouse and rising Morehouse Men have every resource they need to lead, serve, and transform the world.

This national philanthropic initiative, led by Cynthia Bowman, First Lady of Morehouse College (Spelman College, Class  of 1991), is fueling the vision of President F. DuBois  Bowman, ’92, Ph.D., to strengthen and scale an institution that has produced generations of extraordinary Black men who are committed to scholarship, leadership, and service. This movement calls women to action—across cities, cultures, professions, and generations—to invest in excellence with intention and urgency.

Morehouse graduates more Black men each year than the top 40 predominantly White liberal arts institutions combined. The College has also produced six Rhodes Scholars—more than any other HBCU—and continues to prepare Black men for leadership in every profession. It achieves these outcomes with an endowment that is a fraction of many peer institutions.

    • Together, we match results with resources.

    • Together, we scale excellence and innovation.

    • Together, we mobilize—for the future of Morehouse
