    STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE

    STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE Requirement

At Morehouse College, your health and well-being come first. That’s why all traditional students are required to have active health insurance each academic year.

    Automatic Enrollment

Each term, the Morehouse College Student Health Insurance Plan will be automatically charged to your student account.

If you already have health insurance (like coverage through a parent or guardian) that meets United Healthcare’s requirements, you may opt out by submitting a waiver during the designated period.

    Your Options

    Waive the College Plan

If your existing insurance meets United Healthcare’s requirements, you can submit a waiver online during the waiver period.

    Keep the College Plan

If you want to keep the Morehouse plan, just confirm your enrollment in the system.

    Important for Student Athletes

All Morehouse College student-athletes are required to enroll in the Morehouse College Student Health Insurance Plan—even if you have other coverage.

Regardless of when your athletic program begins, you must enroll in the plan during the Fall term—unless you are enrolling at Morehouse College for the first time in the Spring term.

This policy ensures that all athletes have consistent, comprehensive coverage that meets NCAA and institutional standards.
