About the Symposium
The Morehouse Symposium on Social Justice and Social Entrepreneurship is a premier gathering of scholars, practitioners, and policymakers dedicated to exploring how entrepreneurial ventures can serve as powerful agents of social change. This symposium will delve into the critical intersection where business innovation meets the pursuit of social equity, focusing on how social enterprises can systematically address and dismantle structural inequalities. Participants will engage with cutting-edge research and thought leadership on topics ranging from the integration of social justice principles in business models to the ethical dilemmas faced by social entrepreneurs in balancing profit and purpose.
This symposium aims to foster a deeper understanding of the role that social entrepreneurship can play in advancing social justice, particularly in marginalized and underserved communities.
