    About Dr. Cherise Burton 

    Dr. Cherise Burton is an esteemed adjunct professor and the director of the Dual Degree Engineering Program within the Division of Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM).

    With a Bachelor of Science from the University of the Virgin Islands, a Master of Science from the University of South Florida, and a Doctorate of Philosophy from Texas Tech University, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role. Dr. Burton's expertise spans Process & System Optimization, Strategic Planning, and Large-Scale Manufacturing, areas in which she is deeply committed to fostering excellence in education and preparing students for success in their engineering careers. Her dedication to advancing STEM education and research contributes significantly to the academic community and the development of future engineering leaders.
