Profile
Candace is a digital, social media and marketing strategist for business, government, and nonprofit organizations. She has held several key roles in the digital marketing space in the banking, healthcare and telecom industry. Candace is currently the Director of Digital Strategy and Transformation at Morehouse College.
Candace believes in giving back to the community and has served as Board President of the Amario’s Art Academy, a member of the United Way of Greater Atlanta’s Cole Women United Cabinet, an Advisory Board member for the New Leader’s Council, and on the Fund Development Council for the Junior League of DeKalb County Georgia.
Candace was the 2017-2018 Vice President of Marketing & Communications for the Junior League of Atlanta (JLA). Candace won the 2013 Committee of the Year award as the Founding Chair of the JLA Leadership Institute and was named 2004 American Business Women's Association Chapter Woman of the Year.
Candace is a part of the 2018 Outstanding Atlanta Class, 2017 Leadership DeKalb Class, Georgia WIN List Academy 2017, Project Understanding 2015 Program and 2014 United Way VIP Program. Candace has served as president of the Atlanta Micro Fund, as an Ambassador for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, and as a board member for the Atlanta Film Festival and the Atlanta Film Society for over ten years.
Candace is a proud graduate of Clark Atlanta University, a Kennesaw State University KIP Program graduate, and a Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM).
A Virginia native, Candace has previously resided in Washington, D.C. and Atlanta, Georgia.
