About Dr. BENEDICT NMAH
Dr. Benedict Nmah is an associate professor of mathematics at Morehouse College. He became a Morehouse College faculty member in August 2008. Prior to his tenure at Morehouse, he also taught at various other institutions of higher education.
Nmah was born and raised in Liberia, West Africa. He received his B.S. in Mathematics with minor in economics from the University of Liberia. He holds an M.S. in Mathematics from Northern Arizona University, an M.S. in Applied Mathematics from Utah State University, an M.S. in industrial engineering from New Mexico State University, and a Ph.D. in Mathematics and industrial engineering from New Mexico State University. His areas of research are numerical analysis optimization with emphasis in the reliability theory.
