Adam J. McKinnon is a dedicated professional with a wealth of experience in event management, student advisement, academic scheduling, and administrative duties within the educational sector.
With a focus on fostering student engagement and success, Mr. McKinnon has curated numerous events presented by student-led clubs and esteemed faculty/partners at Morehouse College. With meticulous attention to detail, Mr. McKinnon played a pivotal role in student advisement by auditing account balances for over 900 students, ensuring financial clarity and support for their academic journeys. In times of understaffing, he has demonstrated exceptional versatility by seamlessly assuming all minor roles required for successful event execution, from securing venues and transportation to managing ticket sales and catering orders.
As the mastermind behind academic schedules and timeframes for Business and Economics majors spanning for 6+ semesters spanning back to Summer 2022, Mr. McKinnon has showcased unparalleled organizational skills and foresight, facilitating smooth academic progression for students within these disciplines.
Furthermore, Mr. McKinnon has contributed to the fiscal health of the Business and Economics Division by assisting with budget management, ensuring resources are allocated effectively to support academic and extracurricular endeavors. Additionally, he has served as the event space manager for the Walter E. Massey Leadership Center, overseeing the coordination of various leadership activities and initiatives.
