Administrative divisions and services
From world-class instruction and research to residential education, public events, and customer service, the Morehouse experience is powered by the work of experienced professionals in key administrative divisions.

Academic Affairs
Academic Affairs governs the academic divisions, programs, courses, registration, and records at Morehouse. We provide a rigorous curriculum focusing on leadership development, scholarship, research, global awareness, and a student development co-curriculum that enhances self-awareness and actualization through opportunities for service learning and travel abroad.

Business and Finance
Includes Controller’s Office, Financial Planning and Analysis, Procurement and Contract Management, and Student Financial Services departments providing oversight to business, infrastructure, and strategic functions focused on ensuring that Morehouse operates effectively in the stewardship and enhancement of our financial, physical and human resources.

Data Analytics, Institutional Research and Effectiveness
Serves to collect, analyze, and report data from a variety of sources that pertain to students, faculty and staff in support of institutional planning and decision-making. DIRE is also responsible for mandatory reporting to federal, state, and other external agencies and provides leadership and support for the College’s accreditation review cycles.

External Relations and Alumni Management
In addition to overseeing the collective interests of alumni relations, parent engagement, external partnerships, multi-media production, event support and transportation services, External Relations and Alumni Engagement is also chiefly responsible for creating, producing and managing first-class institutional and protocol events that are designed to increase sponsorships, strengthen external collaborations and ultimately elevate our relationships with local, national and global communities.

Institutional Advancement
The Office of Institutional Advancement fosters connections with alumni, friends, and stakeholders vested in our global impact and mission of developing men of color with disciplined minds who lead lives of leadership and service.

Strategic Marketing and Communications
The Office of Strategic Marketing Communications is dedicated to extending and protecting the brand reputation of Morehouse and driving revenue functions of the College that are led by the Admissions and Recruitment team and supporting Office of Institutional Advancement. The department is also responsible for public relations and media engagement, internal communications, and supporting executive communications from the Office of the President. Most people off campus experience Morehouse through the work of the Marketing and Communications team.

Registrar
The registrar’s office oversees Morehouse’s academic registration and record keeping functions, which include coordinating schedules, registering classes, collecting and processing grades, verifying enrollment statistics, clearing students for graduation, and providing transcripts.

Research and Sponsored Programs
The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs administers awards for sponsored research, programs, and projects. This includes developing the institutional capabilities for research and public service, identifying sources of support for sponsored projects, developing and implementing training programs for proposal writing, developing institutional policies that relate to sponsored activities and to assist with the proposal development.

Student Services
Student Services is committed to enhancing and enriching each student’s collegiate experience. We are here to facilitate programs, services, and experiences that support the mission and vision of Morehouse, as well as help students develop into leaders. Our services include career, counseling, accessibility, health, and academic advising.

Title III
Title III supports Morehouse through financial assistance to establish or strengthen the physical plants, financial management, academic resources, and endowments. It carries our overall mission and serves as a liaison between Morehouse and U.S. Department of Education.

Information Technology
The Office of Information Technology Services works to empower Morehouse employees and students by enhancing our technological infrastructure, enabling information and data sharing, and supporting the individual equipment and application needs of students, faculty, and staff.
