Business and Finance Division
Business and Finance provides oversight to business, infrastructure, and strategic functions focused on ensuring that Morehouse operates effectively in support of its vision and strategic initiatives. Our primary responsibility is the stewardship and enhancement of our financial, physical and human resources.
The division includes many of the administrative organizations that support our academic mission: Controller’s Office; Financial Planning and Analysis; Procurement and Contract Management; and Student Financial Services.
Our Departments
Office of the Controller
The Controller’s Office manages Morehouse’s accounting, payroll, and treasury services. We manage internal controls and ensure conformity with generally accepted accounting principles and regulations. Our services offerings also include general accounting, grants, accounts payable, risk management, travel, and financial reporting.
Our primary mission is to provide financial information and establish and communicate policies and procedures necessary to ensure the proper and efficient use of the College’s resources. Our goal is to provide clear, concise, and timely dissemination of policies and procedures and prompt and accurate processing of all financial transactions. We partner with the Morehouse community to create seamless and efficient financial infrastructure and processes. For forms, or more information, email associate controller James Campbell.
Budget, Planning, and Financial Analysis
The office of budgets, planning and financial analysis manages Morehouse’s budgeting and financial operations. We manage Morehouse’s financial resources in support of its mission of instruction, research and public service. We provide the administration with objective, accurate and timely information and analyses to inform decision-making and strategic planning processes. Our office also works collaboratively with academic and administrative units to guide the annual budget development process, to assess ongoing budget and planning issues, and to ensure that all budgetary expenditures conform to Morehouse policies and procedures as well as external regulations.

Procurement and Contracts
The Morehouse College Office of Procurement and Contract Services is dedicated to supporting the goals of Morehouse College – its educational, fundraising, research, and public service missions. We will dedicate ourselves to procuring and providing quality goods and services at competitive prices and providing responsive and responsible service to all of Morehouse Colleges departments.
