ASSESSMENT
Academic Affairs governs the academic divisions, programs, courses, registration, and records at Morehouse.
ASSESSMENT
We are committed to ongoing, integrated, and college-wide research-based planning and evaluation processes that result in continuous improvement in institutional quality and demonstrate the effective accomplishment of our mission. To ensure institutional effectiveness, we engage in the following college-wide processes:
- Strategic planning
- Budget review and resource allocation
- Annual assessment planning and reporting
- Periodic academic program review
Data Analytics, Institutional Research, and Effectiveness provides guidance and support for academic programs as well as administrative and educational support units engaged in the annual assessment reporting process.
ANNUAL OUTCOMES ASSESSMENT
Annual planning and assessment is the cornerstone of the College’s systematic process of ensuring effectiveness and fostering continuous, incremental improvement in all areas at Morehouse. Academic, student support, and administrative units identify expected outcomes, assess the extent to which they achieve those outcomes, and provide evidence of improvement based on analysis of the results. To facilitate this process, programs and units should use the resources provided below.
