    Safety Services

Morehouse College is committed to providing a safe and secure environment for its campus community. The college offers a range of safety services to ensure the well-being of students, faculty, staff, and visitors. This page outlines the key safety services available on the Morehouse campus.

    Campus Safety Communications Center

The Morehouse College Campus Safety Communications Center is located in the Robert Hall Annex. The center is responsible for monitoring all surveillance cameras on and around the campus. It is staffed 24 hours a day, year-round, and processes all calls for security-related services across the campus. The number for the Campus Police Communications is (404) 215-2666.

    Emergency Call Boxes

The college has 14 blue light emergency call boxes strategically placed across the campus. When activated, these call boxes will directly connect the user to the 24-hour staffed communication center, where they can communicate directly with a campus police dispatcher.

    Lost and Found

The Department of Campus Police operates a lost and found service. Members of the campus community can claim misplaced or lost items by providing proof of ownership and a valid photo ID. Found property is held for 60 days and then discarded, following Georgia statutes. Lost Morehouse ID cards can be claimed from the Access Control office in the basement of Sale Hall, while lost Morehouse-issued keys can be claimed from the basement of Mays Hall.

    Report Requests

To request a copy of a report, individuals can submit the Report Request Form, and a copy of the report will be emailed to them within five business days. However, information on reports may be redacted under Georgia state law.
