LawVu, Contracts and Other Resources

LawVu is the College’s legal and contract management portal — the digital front door to the Office of Legal Affairs, Compliance and Risk Management. Through LawVu, members of the College community can request legal services, submit contracts for review, access the central contract repository, and find the forms, templates, and training they need to do business with and on behalf of Morehouse efficiently and in compliance with College policy.



Contracts are the lifeblood of College operations, and they carry real legal and financial consequences. Before any agreement is signed, it must move through the College’s Contract Approval and Review process, which ensures that the right people review terms, that the College’s standard protections are in place, and that only those with delegated Signature Authority bind the institution. Submitting contracts through LawVu, using the Contract Approval and Review Form (CARF), keeps each agreement on track and creates a complete, searchable record in the central repository.

To make the process as smooth as possible, the Office provides standard contract templates, practical guidance on preparing a contract for submission, training videos, and answers to frequently asked questions. Members of the community who are new to contracting with Morehouse will find the tips on preparing a contract for submission and “The Do’s and Don’ts of Contracting with Morehouse” especially useful.

Beyond contracts, this pillar gathers the Office’s broader resources — the EthicsPoint reporting hotline, the developing Federal Compliance Map, the College’s Outside Counsel Guidelines, and other tools that support the College’s legal, compliance, and risk work.
