    About the Dr. Lever Lamar Smith

    Dr. Levar Lamar Smith serves as an Assistant Professor of Comparative Politics and International Relations at Morehouse College, where he is celebrated for his exceptional teaching and scholarly contributions. With a focus on Third World Politics, Latin American Politics, African Politics, and Introduction to International Relations, Dr. Smith has consistently earned remarkable teaching effectiveness ratings, placing him in the 97th percentile according to student and peer evaluations. He has supervised numerous senior thesis projects, guiding students through in-depth explorations of democracy and its implications.

    Beyond the classroom, Dr. Smith has played an active role in collaborative initiatives and service learning programs. He co-taught seminars on the politics, society, and economy of South Africa and Zimbabwe and lectured on crucial topics like racial inclusion and socioeconomic development.
