About Dr. Joyce L. Terrell
Joyce L. Terrell, Ph.D., ATC, is an assistant professor at Morehouse College.
She is also a board-certified athletic trainer who serves patients at her private practice – West End Well Werks – in Atlanta, Georgia. She also served as owner of The Sports Medicine Institute.
Dr. Terrell earned her Master of Science in Sports Medicine and Public Health at the United States Sports Academy. Later, she earned her Doctor of Philosophy with a focus on Public Health Epidemiology at Walden University. She also earned a bachlor’s degree from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore.
