About Professor Toussaint
Bria Toussaint is the Assistant Director of Academic Programs and Strategic Initiatives at the Morehouse Center for Excellence in Education (MCEE) and an Adjunct Professor for the Morehouse Education Department. She has worked with the Executive Director for five years to develop and implement MCEE programs with a focus on student experiences.
As a former middle school teacher and founder of an educational non-profit organization, she assists students in exploring education from an interdisciplinary approach and identifies ways in which their passions align with education.
Ms. Toussaint holds a Master of Science from one of the nation’s top Education programs at Johns Hopkins University and a Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Women’s Studies from Spelman College. In addition, Bria is a Miami-Dade County Teach for America Alumna and the founder of the 501c3 non-profit organization Girl-Power Foundation, Inc.
