We’re excited to welcome you to our campus, our classes, and our family. Until then, there’s plenty to do. This checklist will help you stay organized and complete all necessary tasks so you’re ready on your first day.
Step #8: Select Your Campus Housing and Meal Plans.
You’ll make housing and meal plan selections through MyPortal. Remember that all previous checklist items must be completed first.First, you must complete your FAFSA, pay your $588 commitment deposit, and complete your placement exams. Once those three steps have been completed, you will be able to login to your Morehouse Portal to apply for housing.
How to apply:
- To proceed the following steps must be completed:
- 2023-2024 FAFSA completed, submitted and received by Morehouse College 48 hours prior to your application date. (see Step 4: Submit Your FAFSA)
- Nonrefundable $588 deposit paid (see Step 3: Make Your Commitment)
- Placement exams completed (see Step 6: Take Your Placement Assessment)
- If all are complete, next steps to housing:
- Login to your Morehouse Portal https://myportal.morehouse.edu
- Click the TigerDen Housing icon with the DHRE logo
- Click the Apply For Housing in the maroon bar at the top
- On the term selector page click Continue next to academic year 2023-2024
