    Articulation Agreements

    What Are Articulation Agreements?

Articulation agreements are formal arrangements between educational institutions to facilitate the transfer of credits from one institution to another. These agreements ensure that students who have completed courses at one institution can seamlessly continue their education at another institution without having to repeat coursework unnecessarily.

Morehouse College has strategically partnered with select two-year colleges, facilitating a seamless transition for students to earn their associate’s degree or certificate before transferring to Morehouse to pursue a bachelor’s degree. These partnerships aim to streamline the academic journey for students, providing them with enhanced opportunities to achieve their educational goals. By collaborating with community colleges, Morehouse College is committed to breaking down barriers and creating accessible pathways for students to further their education and unlock their full potential.

    Why Articulation Agreements Matter

    1. Smooth Transition: Articulation agreements provide a clear pathway for students transferring between institutions, minimizing the loss of credits and maximizing the efficiency of their educational journey.
    2. Cost-Effective: By recognizing completed coursework, articulation agreements can save students time and money by reducing the need to retake classes they've already completed.
    3. Enhanced Opportunities: These agreements broaden opportunities for students by allowing them to explore diverse educational offerings across different institutions while maintaining academic continuity.
    4. Flexibility: Articulation agreements offer flexibility for students to pursue their educational goals by providing various transfer options and pathways tailored to their needs.
