    • Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) at Morehouse College

      Configure Your Multi-Factor Authentication

Keeping your data and devices safe is a top priority at Morehouse College. That’s why we use a powerful multi-factor authentication (MFA) system powered by Okta and Duo Security.

      Why MFA?

MFA adds an extra layer of security to your account by requiring you to verify your identity in more than one way—such as entering your password and confirming a notification on your phone. This helps protect your sensitive information and prevents unauthorized access

      How It Works

      • When you log in to Morehouse systems through MyPortal (Okta), you’ll be prompted to set up MFA.

      • You can enroll using the Okta Verify app or Duo Mobile app on your smartphone, or use other options like security keys or biometrics.

      • Once set up, you’ll authenticate with both your password and your chosen second factor each time you sign in.

      Benefits of MFA

      • Stronger protection against data breaches and cyberattacks

      • Keeps your accounts and personal information secure

      • Helps ensure only you can access Morehouse systems and resources.
