As Senior Assistant Director of Admissions and proud Morehouse alumnus, Jacory Bernard is inspiring future scholars across Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Ohio, Wisconsin, West Virginia and throughout the state of Georgia to find purpose, brotherhood, and a home at Morehouse.
Hi, my name is Jacory Bernard, and I serve as the Senior Assistant Director of Admissions at Morehouse College. In my role, I oversee campus tours, student ambassadors, and pre-collegiate programs while supporting our overall recruitment and admissions strategy. With a background in PK–5 education and a passion for leadership and learning, I aim to make every student’s journey to Morehouse both meaningful and memorable.As a proud 2021 Morehouse alumnus, my goal is simple — to find students whose hearts beat in rhythm with the spirit of Morehouse and to help them make this House their home..

- Leads a team of 90+ ambassadors
- Manages campus tours and admissions events
- Oversees professional and leadership development
Counselors & Access Professionals
- Builds and sustains counselor networks
- Facilitates the annual Counselor Symposium
Summer & Pre-Collegiate Programming
- Designs programming for PK–12 environments
- Develops partnerships with schools and community organizations
New Student Enrollment Support
- Coordinates triage of enrollment areas during New Student Orientation
- Guides new students through all required enrollment steps
Traditional Admissions & Recruitment
- Reviews applications and supports admissions decisions
- Recruits in IN, KY, MI, OH, WI, and WV
