Morehouse College Atlanta Metropolitan Upward Bound (AMUB)
The Morehouse College Atlanta Metropolitan Upward Bound (AMUB) serves 60 eligible students currently enrolled in our target schools and high schools throughout the state of Georgia.
Target schools:
- B.E.S.T Academy
- North Clayton High School
- Forest Park High School
The program provides an intensive six-week residential summer curriculum (four weeks scholars will commute to campus, and the final two-weeks scholars will live on campus). Scholars will receive year-round counseling and advisement; exposure to University faculty members; and participant-conducted scientific research under the guidance of faculty members and/or graduate students.
The goal of the program is to help students recognize and develop their potential to excel in math, English and science and to encourage them to pursue postsecondary degrees by completing a rigorous secondary school program of study.
