Leadership in Action: Student Governance & Advocacy (SGA)

Campus Alliance for Student Activities (CASA)

 

 

At Campus Alliance for Student Activities (commonly called CASA), student life becomes community life. CASA is the central student-led body that partners with clubs, campus offices, and the Atlanta University Center consortium (AUC) to plan and support co-curricular activities that make Morehouse’s campus dynamic and inclusive.

Unlike individual interest clubs, CASA’s mission is to design and coordinate programming that touches the entire student body, fosters connection, and builds campus culture. CASA plays a key role in organizing many of Morehouse’s most memorable annual events and awareness initiatives.

What CASA Does on Campus:

CASA is a cornerstone of campus engagement, helping create meaningful opportunities for students to connect, reflect, and celebrate throughout the year. Through collaboration with registered student organizations (RSOs), other campus partners, and AUC institutions, CASA facilitates events that highlight Morehouse’s values of brotherhood, awareness, and leadership.

Some signature events CASA supports include

• Homecoming — an annual celebration of alumni, tradition, and campus spirit

• Spring Fest — a vibrant springtime showcase of music, life, and community

• Awareness Weeks — themed weeks focused on topics like Diversity, Disability, Mental Health, and Risk Reduction (e.g., Alcohol & Drug Awareness Week, Depression Awareness Week)
