Clifford Russell Named Chief Information Officer
Clifford Russell, a national innovator in technology, has been named Morehouse’s chief information officer.
Russell is president and CEO of Bridge Dataworks, where his work has been featured in multiple case studies. He has worked in many capacities throughout his career, including as CIO for HeiTech Services, Inc.; system analyst at the University of Maryland; and as system administrator for NASA Goddard Space Flight Center.
Known for his creative approach to technology and wants to see Morehouse rise to the level of innovation that would make it a trendsetter among institutions of higher education.
“We will use industry best practices, private and public cloud technologies to pave the way to significantly enhance technology service delivery here at Morehouse College,” Russell said.
President John Silvanus Wilson Jr. ’79 said Russell recognizes not only the power of technology, but also the key to leveraging it to produce educational outcomes.
“I am excited about Clifford Russell joining our team because he knows how to do just that. In partnership with our faculty and staff, Clifford will implement an innovative technology strategy to ensure that teaching and learning at Morehouse remain robust and relevant.”
