Charles Hubert House, affectionately themed as the Soul House, is known for its connection and commitment to spiritual guidance and enlightenment. Constructed in 1970, Hubert is a three-story residential building that houses 116 students in double-occupancy rooms. There are no single occupancy rooms offered in this building, and there are community bathrooms and showers on each floor.
Hubert has housed many skilled artists who’ve expressed themselves through song, instruments, and dance, contributing to the Soul House atmosphere. Located in the Quad and only steps away from the Fredrick Douglass Learning Resource Center and Chivers Dining Hall, Hubert House conveniently grants its residents access to academic resources and nutritious meal options.
