Glee Club

Glee Club

For more than 100 years, the Morehouse College Glee Club built a reputation for high standards and achievement. Among its many accomplishments are performing at the Atlanta Symphony Hall with soprano Jessye Norman, performing the national anthem with Natalie Cole at Super Bowl XXVIII, participating with Stevie Wonder, Gloria Estefan, and Trisha Yearwood in the Opening and Closing Ceremonies of the 1996 Centennial Olympic Games in Atlanta.

The club often travels internationally. Past performances include stops in Russia, Poland, Bermuda, Bahamas, South Africa, Canada, and Puerto Rico. Members come from across the United States and around the world. While many are music majors, our singers study in all divisions at Morehouse. Even though some members take Glee Club as a course for credit, all members still sing as a labor of love and enjoy being ambassadors for Morehouse.
