Dr. Claude Hutto is an associate professor and inaugural dean of the Division of Professional and Continuing Studies at Morehouse College.
Dr. Hutto previously served as Life Sciences Division chair and as chair of the Department of Kinesiology, Sport Studies and Physical Education. He has undertaken many administrative and professional tasks at Morehouse, including being faculty credentialing specialist, faculty athletic representative, and co-founder of and advisor to the James P. Haines Society Majors Club, among others. In addition to published journal articles and giving refereed conference presentations, he is working on a book, Staying in College: Student Services and Retention at Historically Black Colleges and Universities.
