The Metropolitan Atlanta Rapid Transit Authority (MARTA) is the principle public transportation provider serving Morehouse and the Atlanta University Center. MARTA is the ninth largest public transit system in the nation.

Shuttles run from the Atlanta University Center to the West End Station, which is also about a ten minute walk from campus. The station is served by the Gold and Red lines.

Also nearby is the Ashby Station, which is served by the Blue and Green Lines and also about a ten minute walk from campus. It is also accessible by bus.
