The first writing task for all students entering Morehouse is an assignment that requires them to write an essay that responds to a Culturally Relevant topic. This practice reflects the College's longstanding commitment to improving the writing abilities of Black males. In the 21st century, this need is more evident than ever before. No matter what field you choose, you will use/need writing to think, analyze, investigate, and create during and after your time at the College.
