Visiting Assistant Professor of Psychology
The Division of Life Sciences invites applications for a one-year Visiting Assistant Professor appointment within the Department of Psychology. Applicants should have experience teaching in their specialty area and be able to teach courses in research methods and statistics. The selected candidate will teach three courses (nine credit hours) per semester; the specialty area for this position is open. Responsibilities include teaching basic and specialized undergraduate courses, advising students, supervising student research, and actively participating in the life and culture of the department. The ability to mentor undergraduate students in the pursuit of one’s own program of research is highly desirable. Start date: August 16, 2021.
Candidates must have a doctoral degree and show evidence of excellence in teaching and research.
