Summary

The Program Coordinator for Title III reports to the associate vice president for strategy and planning and director of Title III programs. The coordinator is responsible for the office's daily functions, including assisting the assistant director with data collection, assisting the program specialist with equipment inventory, and capturing Title III impact around campus through graphics and digital designs. The successful candidate will be skilled in various data extraction, data reporting, and data visualization approaches.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Manage the entire procurement process for the department to include:
    • Reviewing requisitions for completeness and request missing information from activity directors and project liaisons
    • Entering requisitions into the procurement system (Jagger) to create open purchase orders or payment of invoices
    • Completing and maintaining the contract approval routing form and other internal forms needed for the Title III Office
    • Completing and routing job requisitions and personnel action forms
  • Maintain virtual and paper file center documents
  • Provide assistance to the assistant director of Title III programs and program specialist with data collection and tracking of quarterly and annual performance reports
  • Coordinate travel and scheduling for Title III activities and Office staff members
  • Assist program specialist with inventory checks of Title III equipment
  • Assist with web management, newsletter development, digital photography, videography, interviews, and short written narratives
  • Other duties as assigned
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Must have strong communication and analytical skills
  • Knowledge and understanding of Morehouse policies and procedures
  • Must possess a high level of professionalism at all times
  • Proficient in Banner and in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Publisher, and Access)
  • Required to successfully prioritize tasks and be flexible to adapt as necessary
  • Ability to manage workload with little direction
  • Must be able to work in a setting with fluctuating dynamics
  • Ability to multi-task and work independently on complex administrative tasks, often under short deadlines to meet goals
  • Experience with record keeping and budget management, and finance administration
  • Strong organizational skills, including the ability to set up processes, systems, and workflow to ensure adherence to procedures and follow-up
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including proofreading and editorial skills
  • Must be proficient in the use of email platforms (Microsoft Outlook), Microsoft suite applications and/or its respective counterparts (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Pages, and Numbers), Terminal Four, Formstack, Dropbox, and other data tracking applications
Education and Experience Requirements
  • Bachelors or higher degree, one to two years of experience in an office environment
  • Dependable, team player, who demonstrates discretion, takes the initiative, possesses good judgment, and has positive customer service skills
Physical Demands
  • Ability to sit for extended periods at a computer is required
  • Must be able to read on a computer as necessary
  • Ability to walk at a mild pace frequently
