Meet the Team

Carter SavageSamantha Stewart

Samantha R. Stewart, a native of Savannah Georgia, currently serves as program manager at the Leadership Center at Morehouse College.  In this capacity, she establishes financial, programmatic and operational benchmarks, timelines and needed resources to achieve the strategic goals of the center.  Her principal focus is to support the executive director and Leadership Center staff in making consistent and progressive steps toward organizational and programmatic consistency and sustainability.

After receiving her bachelor of science in finance from Hampton University in Hampton, VA, she began her professional career in the banking industry where she established herself as a highly motivated, results-oriented and competent team player. With an uncanny ability to communicate and inspire her co-workers, she quickly moved through the ranks leading to a 16-year proven track record in training, financial services and sales.

She obtained specific expertise in strategic planning, business development, sales management, platform delivery and public speaking. This led to her being selected to train, manage and motivate personnel on the development of customer relationships and business solicitation.  Consistently ranked in the top 15% for sales in mortgage sales for the Wachovia Bank of Georgia (now Wells Fargo), Ms. Stewart has consulted affluent and emerging market clientele on the mortgage aspects of financial planning by utilizing her developed skills in analysis of credit, income, debt ratio and personal goals. From this work she also had the opportunity to assist in development and implementation of new products for the Affluent Mortgage division.

Since joining the Leadership Center team in 2009, Samantha has worked diligently to advance the mission and the vision of the center by creating a functional and fiscally responsible environment.
