Residence Hall Association
The Residence Hall Association (RHA) was founded in 2008 to unify and give representation to the entire on-campus student body. RHA is a subset of the Office of Housing and Residential Life. RHA creates and organizes campus-wide programming, promotes community service, and represents the needs and concerns of on-campus students. Most importantly, RHA is the direct link to the Residence Hall Councils a leadership outlet that reaches nearly 1500 residents.
Who is a member?
Students who live on campus automatically are a member’s of the Residence
Hall Association. To be become active in your hall council talk to your
Resident Director for more information.
What does RHA do?
The Residence Hall Association oversees the General
Council, which is composed of two members, or senators,
from each residence hall. The Senators are responsible for reporting
the Association’s business back to their hall councils, serving
on a committee in the General Council, and writing legislation, as well as publicizing
their hall council’s events.
In cooperation with the many residence halls, the Association also provides a wide variety of social and educational activities to foster residential and community growth.
How much does it cost to attend an RHA event?
All of RHA events are Free and worth your time! RHA often
teams up with organizations on campus and local businesses to give away great
door prizes, and lots of T-Shirts!
