The
Leadership Center facility extends the legacy of Morehouse
College into the 21st century by shaping Morehouse students
into ethical leaders, ecumenical thinkers and sound businessmen.
Today, more than ever, the world needs great leaders,
ethical leaders—individuals who have learned to
think creatively and act boldly to address global, political
and social issues.
The
Leadership Center facility will enable the College to
function as a national and international leadership laboratory
and an institutional crossroad that is responsive to the
increasing need for ethnically diverse leadership in a
broad range of academic, community, governmental and business
environments.
Located at the edge of the historic West
End district of Atlanta, at the corners of West End Avenue,
Westview Drive and Wellborn Street,
the Leadership Center facility provides an exciting and
welcoming entrance to campus. |
 |
| The
70,000-square-foot facility will become a key landmark
for the College, anchoring the south campus expansion
detailed in the College’s Master Plan. |
